BJ'S MOUNTAIN RETREAT BJ's Mountain Retreat is located 5 miles from Banner Elk, NC. We are convenient to all area attractions and activities. Our Cabins are in a private, secluded area with spectacular views. Some activities we are only minutes from include snow sking (Sugar Ski - 8 miles, Ski Beech - 9 miles), fishing, white water rafting, golfing, hiking, and swimming. All our cabins offer great views. If you are an early riser, you might enjoy sitting on the deck with your morning cup of coffee, watching the sun come up as you listen to the woods awaken with the sounds of nature. If you prefer relaxing in the late afternoon while rocking on the deck, you will see some of our spectacular sunsets. If you are planning a family get-together and need lots of space, you can rent both units of Poplar Ridge and the Guest Cottage which will accommodate up to 24 people. |
OUR PROPERTIES POPLAR RIDGE - Perfect for the family reunion or the smaller family. Each unit has 1000 square feet of space, and offers 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, sleeps 7-8 comfortably. Each bedroom has one queen and one single. The living room also has a futon which converts into a queen bed. The kitchen is fully furnished with microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster,--- everything you should need to prepare a meal. Both cabins have gas log fire-places, washer/ dryers, satellite TV, VCR, Sony Play Station,and phones (local calls only). Outside we have picnic tables, gas/charcoal grills and a 6 person hot tub. These cabins set nestled in the mountainside with surrounding woods for lots of privacy. GUEST COTTAGE - A 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage which sleeps 7-8 comfortably. One bedroom has one queen, one single. The other bedroom has one double, one single. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully furnished for all your cooking needs including microwave, coffee maker, blender and toaster. The Cottage also has satellite TV, VCR, gas grill, picnic table, phone, and an 8 person hot tub. |
